Art workshops
We were thrilled to partner with New River College Primary School, which is based in Cloudesley Square.
Our team of artists led by Art+Christianity developed creative workshops for the children on a weekly basis throughout the September term 2019.
These were based on the stories and themes emerging from the research and encouraged the children to think about how challenging life could be in the 1800s. We were proud to exhibit much of their artwork alongside the exhibition panels and materials.
The children were able to visit the building and, over the course of the term, explored challenging ideas such as death rituals, child poverty and the role of women in the home.
