Exhibiting the tales
Although we had intended to mount an exhibition of our research at Islington Museum and the Islington Local History Archive, the outbreak of Covid-19 in early 2020 meant that the entire exhibition was cancelled.
However, later in the year when restrictions lifted, we were able to open on several Saturdays in the south aisle of Holy Trinity Church itself (usable following some remedial works).
Tales from the Crypt was open for 10, three-hour sessions at weekends from 26th September to 13th December 2020. A total of 227 people visited the exhibition, which was supported by the volunteer team and the Volunteer Coordinator. There was a further closure during the second lockdown in November.

Walking the walk
To bring to life the characters from our research, as part of our project, we devised a new walk based around Cloudesley Square and the surrounding area.
The route of the walk is on the map, which can be downloaded as a high-quality PDF for self-guided tours. NB: the PDF containing the map is a large file.
